Located just 25 miles north of Boston in the historic town of North Andover, Massachusetts, Rolling Ridge Retreat Center sits on Lake Cochichewick with a half mile of lakefront property and thirty-eight secluded acres of woods and rolling hills. Explore the double labyrinth nestled in the forest and the expanse of open space, hills, and trails. Part of the Merrimack River Valley, this watershed weaves together the rich histories and cultures of central-southern New Hampshire and northeastern Massachusetts with the Atlantic Ocean via the Gulf of Maine at Newburyport just 25 miles east. 📍Pawtucket & Massachusett Land

All inclusive prices cover the program fee of $399 plus your choice of lodging and all meals for 3 nights and 3 days
starting with dinner upon arrival and ending with lunch before departure.*
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or other specific food needs, allergies, or restrictions can be accommodated.
Tea, coffee, and hot cocoa will be available throughout the day in the fireside room. Guest fridge and microwave available at all times.

What will the schedule be like?
Program begins at 6pm with dinner on Sunday and ends by 1pm on Wednesday. Days will be a mix of guided nature immersion, crafting, and personal retreat time.
Can I stay offsite?
This retreat is intended to be an all-inclusive immersive experience with the intention for all participants to stay on-sight. If you are absolutely unable to stay on-sight and still want to participate, check out the day package on the order form.
Will there be an oportunities to network with other guides and talk about the business of forest therapy?
Yes. We will be happy to facilitate discussions related to guiding based on the interest of the group.
I am not a guide and have never tried forest therapy. Is this retreat appropriate for me?
Yes! All our welcome and this a perfect opportunity to experience and learn about the practice of forest therapy.

Meet The Team
Your Guides
Nadine Mazzola and Tam Willey
Nadine Mazzola (she/her) has been a Certified Forest Therapy Guide since 2015 based in Acton, MA. She founded her guiding business, New England Nature and Forest Therapy, in 2016. Nadine guides regularly and has formed partnerships with multiple organizations, She also does speaking engagements on forest therapy and occasional consulting with a variety of organizations. Nadine has also been a trainer/mentor with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and has a business and marketing background spanning twenty-five years.
In 2019, Nadine added award-winning author to her list of accomplishments. She wrote the book “Forest Bathing with Your Dog”, which won four awards. The book combines the practice of forest therapy with our practice of walking our dogs and elevates the depth and meaning of both. She has been featured on PBS Windows to the Wild twice, ABC’s Chronicle and in the Boston Globe and Boston Magazine. In addition to Nadine’s business and marketing background, she was also formerly a world professional pocket billiards player competing on the Women's Professional Billiard Tour. Nadine has been guiding forest therapy walks since 2015. Also, an artist, she facilitates expressive arts classes often incorporating elements of forest therapy throughout.
Tam Willey (they/them) is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, trainer, mentor, and educator based in Boston, Massachusetts and founder of Toadstool Walks, a guiding practice based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Tam explores themes of belonging and attention through story and nature immersive experiences, facilitating ways of being together that support a culture of reciprocity and relational kinship. Tam’s guiding practice is informed by their background as a local handy person, children’s woodworking instructor, custodian, skateboarder, musician, artist, mentor, love for outdoor adventure, and 1st hand Queer life experience as community advocate serving and uplifting LGBTQ+ youth & adults through BAGLY (Boston's Alliance of LGBTQ Youth), The Theater Offensive’s True Colors out Youth Theater, Black and Pink (Queer & Trans prison abolitionist organization), The Venture Out Project, and Wild Mountain Retreats. Tam guides ongoing community programming in partnership with The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, Speak For The Trees, The Emerald Necklace Conservancy, Boston Harbor Now, Peabody Essex Museum, local colleges and universities, and more.
